The DEC2685 1U rackmount security appliance is based on AMD® G-Series SoC and is equipped with 8GB DDR3 RAM as well as 256GB solid state flash storage. In terms of connectivity, the appliance provides 4 x GbE RJ45 ports, 1 x USB port and 1 x console port. Compared to the previous model DEC2680, the DEC2685 is embraced in a 30% smaller chassis and provides an energy efficiency improvement of 50%. Typical applications for this appliance are firewall, routing, VPN, IDPS and webproxy.
