Collection of General Information

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, and similar. This information does not allow any conclusions about your person. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the content of web pages you requested and is mandatory when using the internet.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system, and your connection to the internet.

Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can facilitate your navigation and enable the correct display of our web pages.

In no case will the data collected by us be passed on to third parties or a link to personal data be established without your consent.

Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies. You can disable the use of cookies at any time through the settings of your browser. Please use the help functions of your internet browser to learn how to change these settings. Please note that some functions of our website may not work if you have disabled the use of cookies.

Registration on Our Website

When registering to use our personalized services, some personal data is collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data such as phone number and email address. Once you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we offer only to registered users. Registered users also have the option to change or delete the data provided during registration at any time. Of course, we also provide you with information about the personal data we hold about you at any time. We are happy to correct or delete these at your request, as long as there are no legal retention obligations. To contact us in this regard, please use the contact details provided at the end of this privacy policy.

SSL Encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (such as SSL) over HTTPS.

Newsletter

When subscribing to our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed via email about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (such as changes to the newsletter offering or technical conditions).

For an effective registration, we need a valid email address. To verify that a subscription is indeed made by the owner of an email address, we use the “double-opt-in” procedure. For this purpose, we log the subscription to the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email, and the receipt of the requested response. No further data is collected. The data will be used exclusively for the newsletter distribution and will not be passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the newsletter dispatch at any time. Each newsletter contains a corresponding link for this purpose. You can also unsubscribe at any time directly on this website or inform us of your corresponding request via the contact options provided at the end of this privacy notice.

Contact Form

If you contact us by email or contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

Deletion or Blocking of Data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, we only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as provided by the various storage periods prescribed by law. After discontinuation of the respective purpose or expiration of these periods, the corresponding data will be routinely and legally blocked or deleted.

Use of Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

To display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser’s cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or denies access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible — but currently unclear whether and if so for what purposes — that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes, and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. For more information about data processing by Google, you can refer to the Google privacy notice. There, you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center.

Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube Videos

On some of our web pages, we embed YouTube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is informed about which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google ad program will not have to expect such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

Further information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Your Rights to Information, Correction, Blocking, Deletion, and Objection

You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data at any time. Likewise, you have the right to correct, block, or, apart from the mandatory data storage for business processing, delete your personal data. Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose. The contact details can be found at the bottom of this page.

To ensure that data blocking can be considered at any time, this data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. As far as such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.

You can make changes or revoke consent by notifying us with effect for the future.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to occasionally adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g., when introducing new services. Your renewed visit will then be subject to the new privacy policy.

Data Processing in the Context of Orders

Data processing in the context of orders serves to process all operations within the order. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b) GDPR. The following data processing is necessary to fulfill the purchase contract:

Your email address will be used to conduct electronic communication about your order and its processing. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c) GDPR.

To fulfill the contractual obligations, the order data is transmitted to the supplier and, if applicable, to the transport person delivering the goods or providing the booked services, and the data is made available for use for this purpose. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b) GDPR.

To fulfill the contract, it may be necessary to forward the data to our payment service providers or the commissioned credit institution. This depends on the selected payment method.
